Food Vendor Application

Being a food vendor at Fiesta Day is an exclusive opportunity available only to Canyon Lake Property Owners Association’s sanctioned clubs. Clubs interested in having a food booth can complete the online food booth application below or download the application to submit to the Canyon Lake Property Owners Association’s Activities department.

Returning vendors from 2017's Fiesta Day may submit applications starting February 15. All returning vendor applications received will be contacted before March 15. New businesses/clubs may submit applications beginning March 15 and applications received will be contacted on or before April 15. Once capacity is reached clubs may be placed on a waiting list.

Please note, all applications are subject to review and approval by the Fiesta Day Committee. Applications will not be accepted without payment. Please give us up to five(5) business days to process your request.


CLUB INFORMATION

BOOTH INFORMATION
One 12ft x 12ft booth space is $60 for CLPOA sanctioned clubs. Adding electricity is an additional $25 per booth space.

Being a food vendor at Fiesta Day is an exclusive opportunity available only to Canyon Lake Property Owners Association’s sanctioned clubs. If you are not a sanctioned club your application will not be accepted, no exceptions.
Returning vendors may submit applications starting February 15, 2018. New vendors can submit applications starting March 15, 2018.
You must provide your own flame resistant labeled canopies (per California fire code 3104.3), tables, and chairs.
If providing own generator, “quiet type” only. Must comply with CFC 3104.19.
You are ONLY allowed to sell and/or display the items on your application that you’ve been approved for. Anyone selling, giving away or displaying items not approved, will be asked to remove those items from their booth. Vendors refusing to comply will be required to leave with no refund and will not be allowed back the following year. If cooking with oils, you must conform to CCR title 19 573 Class K fire extinguisher required. Open or exposed flame cooking is not permitted inside tent.

Parking Pass

Parking passes will be distributed on May 10, 2018 in the POA Conference Room in the CLPOA office located at 31512 Railroad Canyon Road in Canyon Lake from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Vendor Rules

ALL APPLICATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO REVIEW & APPROVAL BY THE FIESTA DAY COMMITTEE

• Vendor gate entry, parking pass, and booth location maps are distributed May 10, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the POA Conference Room at the CLPOA Office 31512 Railroad Canyon Road in Canyon Lake.

• Vendor check-in and set up is 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 25, 2018 and from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. Saturday May 26, 2018 at 22200 Canyon Club Drive in Canyon Lake. All booths must be set up prior to 8 a.m. on Saturday, as streets close promptly at 8:30 a.m. and remain closed until 11 a.m.

A vendor is assigned one (1) parking pass per each vendor booth space paid for. Parking is limited during event hours and no additional passes are available. Vehicles parked in the venue during event hours must display a vehicle parking pass or they will be towed or cited at the owner’s expense. Trailers are not allowed in vendor parking spaces during event hours. Please do not lose or forget your pass, your vehicle will not be allowed in without one and there are no replacements. Vendors refusing to comply with these parking requirements will be asked to leave with no refund and will not be approved for a vendor space the following year.

• Vendor employees and club members should arrive before 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2018, or after
11 a.m. as roads will remain closed for the parade during those times.

• Vendors must use flame-resistant canopies per California Fire code 3104.3 as well as any Riverside
County Health Department rules.

Verbal abuse of any event staff will be noted and you will not be approved for a vendor space the following year.

• You are allowed to sell and/or display ONLY the items on your application that you’ve been approved for.Anyone selling, giving away or displaying items not approved, will be asked to remove those items from their booth. Vendors refusing to comply will be required to leave with no refund and will not be allowed back the following year.

• Food items for sale are permitted only in food court by CLPOA sanctioned club food booths complying with Health Department requirements. No vendor outside of food court may give out samples unless the vendor has Health Department permit and prior Fiesta Day Committee approval.

• Stock your booth adequately as this event is counting on you to provide food for the entire duration of the event.

• Large, clear aesthetically pleasing signage at your booth will ensure better sales for your club and make it easier for customers to identify what you are selling.

• Event hours are Saturday, May 26, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Vendor booths must stay open until 3 p.m. Booth break down can be anytime after 3 p.m. Vendors refusing to comply will not be approved for a vendor space the following year.

• Your booth space should be clean and free of trash when you leave.


Temporary Food Facility Storage

Please download the two documents to the right of this form for information on temporarily storing food for community events. The County of Riverside Department of Environmental Health will require you to complete a "Community Event Temporary Food Facility Operator's Agreement".


Assumption of Risk, Waiver, Release, & Indemnification

I/we am participating voluntarily in a Group/Club/Committee Activity or Event and I/we fully understand that there are risk and hazard to my person or other persons, or our property, associated with such participation. I/we voluntarily assume all such risks including injury, death or property damage on behalf of myself and any minor for whom I have given consent. I/we have consulted my physician to confirm I am healthy enough to participate in this event or hereby assume the risk of participating without my physician’s advice. I/we agree to abide by all rules, regulations and instructions for the Activity or Event.

In addition, in consideration of such participation in the Activity or Event, on behalf of myself and any minor for whom I have given consent, I hereby release, discharge in advance, indemnify, defend and hold the Canyon Lake Property Owners Association and the City of Canyon Lake and their officers, agents, employees and authorized volunteers, free and harmless from and against any and all liabilities, demands, costs or claims for damages, personal injury, death or property damage (whether to me, or to third parties, and including but not limited to attorney’s fees and costs) which I or the minor may have, or which may hereafter accrue to any of us, against any of them, as a result of my/our participation in the Activity or Event.
